- Start-up meeting with the suppliers / sub-suppliers ( project planning, resources, etc. )
- Review of project documentation ( welding processes, WPS documents, ITP plans )
- Approval of the final documentation from the supplier ( quality documentation )
QC
- Quality control plans – description of quality control activities before start-up of production
- Destructive testing - examination of base materials ( testing of production weld samples )
- NDT services ( visual control, x-ray-, penetrant / magnetoflux-, eddie curent examination )
- Proces control ( checking welding quality, surface treatment control, control of dimensions )
- Final inspection - check of production quality before packaging and shipment from the factory
