Plant certification

In order to connect photovoltaic and CHP systems (generation systems) to the public power grid, a system certificate in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 must be submitted to the power grid operator for systems with a capacity of PAV,E >270kW or ΣPEmax >500kW. The plant certificate certifies to the grid operator that the plant has been designed in accordance with the regulations.

We connect your plant to the grid

Our employees are among the pioneers with many years of experience and extensive expertise in technical connection regulations and the special features of the technical connection conditions of the various grid operators.

For the German market, we test and certify your generation plant (EZA) in accordance with the applicable medium-voltage guideline - VDE-AR-N 4110 - Technical rules for connecting customer installations to the medium-voltage grid, including TR8 of the FGW.

As an accredited certification body, we issue type A and type B system certificates in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 as well as EZA declarations of conformity and support you with the commissioning declaration in accordance with Annex E.11 of VDE-AR-N 4110.

Target groups for certification

The certification is aimed at companies involved in the planning, construction, and operation of generation plants.

Advantages of certification

Upon presentation of the plant certificate, the requirements for the electrical properties of the generation plant are deemed to have been met. If the electrical properties of the plant cannot be verified by a plant certificate, a plant operator may be denied connection to the medium-voltage grid in Germany.
