Our Services at a Glance

We are notified for a wide range of insulation product standards and can certify your products accordingly. We are accredited beyond the minimum requirements for many insulation tests and evaluate not only thermal conductivity (EN 12667/12664), compressive strength (EN 826), water absorption (EN 1609 / 12087), water vapor permeability (EN 12086)—and much more.

Measurements of Thermal Conductivity

Tests in accordance with
DIN EN 12667 for thermal insulation materials and
DIN EN 12664 for other building materials
Tests on
solid materials, bulk materials, composite materials,
inorganic and organic systems
Test specimen dimensions
for λ 0.1 W/(m·K): (150 x 150) mm²
for λ < 0.1 W/(m·K): (500 x 500) mm²
We can cut specimens to size
Test specimen thickness
Recommendation: 50–80 mm (4–120 mm possible)
Number of test specimens
1 specimen, due to high reproducibility
(unless otherwise specified in product standards)
Test duration
< 24 hours
