The new EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR) - sustainability and transparency in the construction sector
The new Construction Products Regulation (CPR, Regulation (EU) 2024/3110) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 18 December 2024. It will enter into force 20 days after publication, i.e. on 7 January 2025. It has been extensively revised, among other things to support the objectives of the European Green Deal and the circular economy. It strengthens the sustainability, safety and transparency of construction products and sets new standards in the market.
