The 7th edition of the BRC Food standard, first published by the British retailers consortium in the UK in 1998, was published as of January 2015 and started to be implemented as of July 2015.
Food Safety Education Background & Description
The BRC Food standard is designed for all food manufacturers, regardless of the size and capacity of the organization. According to BRC Food certificate, the companies that produce private label products for retailers or the manufacturers who want to sell their products in the UK market have proved that they fulfill the requirements related to the product.
