Working at Kiwa: Francesco Rossi's journey

When Francesco Rossi joined Kiwa Italy as a Marketing Intern in 2015, he didn’t yet imagine his path would one day take him across borders — from Bologna to Rijswijk, from local campaigns to shaping global strategies. A decade later, as Global Marketing Manager, Francesco continues to help drive Kiwa’s international growth story — connecting people, systems, and ideas through marketing innovation.

A journey built on curiosity and collaboration

Francesco’s career at Kiwa began with a simple motivation: a fascination for how communication could connect people with purpose. As a Marketing & Communication Officer in Italy, he quickly became known for combining creativity with strategic thinking — launching campaigns that resonated across multiple industries while supporting business development.

But his ambitions didn’t stop there. Between 2018 and 2020, Francesco took on an international challenge as Leader of Kiwa’s Global Social Media Task Force. Working across countries and cultures, he led the creation of Kiwa’s first global social media policy, building the foundation for a consistent brand voice worldwide. “It was a turning point,” he recalls. “We realized that when local teams collaborate and share best practices, the brand grows stronger everywhere.”

Leading change and Digital Transformation

By 2019, Francesco had become Head of Marketing and Communication for Kiwa Italy, leading a talented team that helped position Kiwa as a trusted partner in the Italian Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) market. During this period, he refined his leadership skills and deepened his understanding of customer-centric marketing — all while aligning local strategy with Kiwa’s global ambitions.

In 2022, Francesco’s journey took him to Kiwa’s Corporate Headquarters in the Netherlands, where he assumed the role of Corporate Digital Marketing Manager. This role allowed him to merge his passion for technology and strategy, helping Kiwa modernize its digital ecosystem and global communication infrastructure. He led projects such as the launch of a new global website with more than 20,000 pages, the centralisation of Kiwa’s global service catalogue, and the integration of digital systems like CRM and Marketing Automation — all of which enhanced user experience and global efficiency.

Shaping Kiwa’s Global Marketing vision

Today, as Global Marketing Manager, Francesco continues to shape Kiwa’s global marketing strategy — aligning local initiatives, empowering teams across 40+ countries, and driving forward Kiwa’s digital transformation. His work blends global coordination with local creativity, ensuring that every campaign reflects Kiwa’s mission: Creating trust. Driving progress.

“I see my role as a bridge,” Francesco says. “Between local markets and global goals, between data and creativity, between technology and people. At Kiwa, marketing is more than communication — it’s collaboration.”
