Course introduction
This two-day Unvented Hot Water Systems with Water Regulations course leads to certification by Cert-ain and will enable you to register with a competent person scheme and self-certification of installations.

The syllabus includes
The course offers a mix of theory and practical training, and will cover the following:
- An insight into domestic hot water
- Its evolution and the main differences between vented and unvented systems
- Different types of unvented systems including controls and layouts
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Maintenance of unvented systems
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements to attend the course however a recognised competence in a conventional fuel, e.g. gas, oil, or solid fuel or a relevant plumbing qualification such as an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience is recommended.

Unvented Hot Water Systems training
This unvented course is suitable for engineers who want to work on unvented hot water systems only or who are looking to renew their unvented qualification.
Water Regulations training
This Water Regulations course is for plumbers looking to apply to their water industry-approved plumber scheme, plumbing CPS or MCS registration body.
