What types of cookies do we use?
Kiwa uses two types of cookies: session cookies and Google Analytics cookies.
Session cookies allow us to see which parts of the website you viewed during your visit. We can then adapt our services to the surfing behaviour of our visitors as much as possible. Session cookies are automatically removed as soon as you close your web browser.
Google Analytics cookies
Through our website cookies are placed of the U.S. company Google, as part of their Analytics service. We use this service to monitor and make reports about how visitors use our website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is under a legal obligation to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have not granted Google permission to use the analytics data obtained for other Google services.
The data collected by Google will be anonymised as much as possible. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. The data are transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google undertakes to adhere to the Safe Harbor principles and has joined the Safe Harbor programme of the American Department for Trade. This means that the processing of personal data is adequately protected.
