Transfer of Kiwa Road Testing activities to KOAC
As of 2 April 2026, Kiwa’s Road Testing activities in The Netherlands, including the associated consultancy services, will be continued by KOAC Road Testing & Consultancy B.V. This step further strengthens the positioning of this specialised service and creates a clear focus for the domain within the new organisation.
For Road Testing customers, nothing will change. The activities, working methods and points of contact remain the same, and operations will continue from the familiar locations in Apeldoorn and Nieuwegein for the foreseeable future. Following the transfer, Kiwa and KOAC will continue to work closely together, enabling us to further optimise our services and capture joint opportunities.
The Material Testing activities within the road construction laboratory, including the associated consultancy services, will remain part of Kiwa and will continue unchanged. From 2 April 2026, these activities will operate under the trade name Kiwa Infra Lab.
This transfer creates greater focus within both Kiwa and KOAC per domain: Road Testing will fully concentrate on testing and monitoring roads and other infrastructure in real-life conditions, while Material Testing will focus on the quality and performance of materials in both laboratory and field environments. This contributes to further professionalisation and ensures continuity of our services.
