Kiwa Expands North American Presence

Kiwa is strengthening its footprint in North America with strategic expansions in construction and capital project services in the United States, and food and agriculture in Canada. These additions bring enhanced local expertise and resources to clients, while reinforcing Kiwa’s commitment to delivering trusted, high-quality services across the continent.

Expanding Construction and Capital Project Services in the U.S.

In the United States, Kiwa has integrated Square One Consultants into Project Control, a division of Raba Kistner, a Kiwa company. Founded in Austin, Texas, Square One has a long-standing reputation as a trusted owner’s representative, managing complex capital projects across multiple sectors.

“We are excited to expand Kiwa’s leadership in North America with the addition of Square One to our group of companies,” said Matt Courtney, Chief Operations Officer at Kiwa Group. “Square One’s deep expertise in project management and proven success in capital project delivery aligns seamlessly with Kiwa’s vision. By bringing together Square One and Project Control, Kiwa is strengthening its comprehensive offerings as a trusted owner’s representative, delivering even greater value to our clients, organizations, and the communities we serve.”

Strengthening Food Safety and Agriculture in Canada

Kiwa ASI, Kiwa’s North American food safety and certification company, has welcomed TSLC, a Canadian certification body specializing in CanadaGAP audits and certifications. TSLC’s team of experienced auditors, located across Canada, brings deep knowledge of the fruit and vegetable sector and holds more than 30% of the market share for CanadaGAP certification.

“I’m looking forward to helping a trustworthy company like Kiwa ASI expand its market share in my home country, where I’ve worked to create standards and audit service organizations that safeguard Canada’s food supply chain,” said Frank Schreurs, President and Managing Director of TSLC.

“We are thrilled to officially have the TSLC team on board and we welcome them with open arms,” said Tyler Williams, CEO of ASI. “This strategic partnership will not only allow us to better serve our Canadian clients but will also deepen our commitment to serving the agricultural community.”

The addition of TSLC means ASI can now offer even more locally delivered food safety and certification services across Canada, while connecting clients to Kiwa’s broader international network of expertise.

Building on Local Expertise

These expansions highlight Kiwa’s focus on local presence and industry expertise across North America. In Canada, agricultural producers gain access to a stronger network of food safety auditors and certification professionals. In the U.S., owners and developers benefit from enhanced project management and capital project support.

Together, the additions of TSLC and Square One Consultants demonstrate Kiwa’s commitment to providing reliable, locally grounded services, while leveraging its global network to meet the evolving needs of clients across industries.
