Inspection of Concrete Bridge Waterproofing Systems ETAG 033
Receive a quote tailored to your needs
Would you like to obtain a European Technical Assessment (ETA) for liquid-applied bridge waterproofing systems in accordance with ETAG 033 or EAD 030675-00-0107? The Initial Type Test is a prerequisite for an ETA.
During this test, performance evaluations must be conducted in accordance with the aforementioned standards for bridge sealants, such as polyurea, PMMAs, etc., regarding compatibility and adhesion behavior under various asphalt types, as well as crack-bridging properties, adhesion, and bonding behavior before and after artificial weathering.
Kiwa supports you in this process as a testing body with extensive experience. Furthermore, through our TAB (Technical Assessment Body) office in the Netherlands, we are directly authorized to issue the ETA, among other things, upon successful completion of the initial type test.
As Kiwa, we can also ensure the associated third-party monitoring (as a Notified Body). This means you have a single point of contact.
Are you a product manufacturer, planner, applicator, expert, or consultant? Simply contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
Bridge inspection in accordance with DIN 1076
Bridge structures must be inspected at regular intervals in accordance with the requirements of DIN 1076 and the Federal Guidelines for the Monitoring of Structural Safety (RÜV) to detect damage at an early stage. In addition to structural durability, the stability and traffic safety of the structure must also be assessed.
