The SEE-Standard certifies companies from the mineral and metal sector which act in a holistically sustainable manner along the supply chain and work on continuous improvement. To achieve this goal, relevant sustainability aspects are systematically considered and evaluated.
The SEE-Standard is divided into 4 scopes:
- Corporate Governance
- Supply Chain Management
- Employee Responsibility
- Environmental Management
The 4 scopes are subdivided in 40 topics and for each topic specific criteria are defined. Within the SEE audits and the certification process more than 150 material criteria will be evaluated.
Companies certified following the SEE standard confirm their holistic approach to sustainability across their supply chains and are committed to continuous improvement. The SEE standard focuses systematically on all relevant sustainability issues, from the raw material supply to the product development.
