Kiwa has entered into an innovation partnership with DronePort Rotterdam to accelerate the safe, efficient and trusted use of drone- and AI-based inspections for critical infrastructure in Europe. The collaboration is closely aligned with Kiwa’s intelligent inspection services and supports the professional, compliant and scalable deployment of innovative inspection technologies, particularly in complex environments such as ports, industrial sites and infrastructure assets.

Kiwa Fire Safety & Security has been nominated for an Intersec Award in the category Impact Makers. Kiwa has been accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) to carry out assessments in accordance with the new European Drinking Water Directive (EU) 2020/2184. Kiwa is the second European conformity assessment body to take this important first step towards formal notification through accreditation by a national authority. This accreditation already enables Kiwa to assess materials and products that come into contact with drinking water according to the new European hygiene requirements.

Kiwa Poland has been officially authorized by the Państwowa Agencja Atomistyki (PAA) to conduct expert assessments for Poland’s first nuclear power plant. The authorization covers structural-integrity evaluations, including the reactor and pressure vessel, highlighting Kiwa’s recognized expertise in nuclear engineering.
