UK Government Announces CE Mark Recognition Extension

The Department for Business and Trade (UK) has announced an indefinite extension to the use of CE marking for businesses. As part of the government’s drive for smarter regulation, the extension will cut business costs and time required to place products on the market and benefit consumers. These updates apply to the 18 regulations that fall under the Department for Business and Trade.

RED Delegated Act Application Date Postponed to 1 August 2025

The European Commission recently announced 1 August 2025 as the new effective date for the revamped Radio Equipment Directive (RED). This gives manufacturers an extra year to prepare for compliance. From 1 August 2025, all wireless communication products must adhere to this delegated act.
