PV inverters and grid integration

Grid operators, plant certifiers, and plant operators require certificates that prove that decentralized generation units comply with grid connection guidelines. Proof provided by the manufacturer itself is often not accepted. Thanks to our accreditation as a testing laboratory and certification body and our international contacts, we can provide you with globally recognized test reports and certificates as proof of compliance with standards.
Our employees are among the pioneers with many years of experience when it comes to the international approval of grid-connected self-generation systems.

EZA certification / system certification (in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110) Type A and Type B

In accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110, we issue Type A and Type B (simplified system certificate) system certificates for all types of decentralized generation units. The FGW-TR8 guideline is also applied as a certification program, which confirms compliance with the VDE-AR-N 4110 rules for self-generation systems on the medium-voltage grid. The certification of the electrical properties of decentralized generation plants ensures the safe operation of power grids while the share of renewable and decentralized energy generation continues to grow.

Compliance with grid connection guidelines (Grid Code Compliance, GCC)

There are also a large number of local grid connection guidelines and standards worldwide for the use of decentralized self-generation units and systems, which must be complied with depending on the country. This applies in particular to attractive markets such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Eastern Europe, Australia, the USA, India, Brazil, and South Africa.
In accordance with the grid connection guidelines of the various grid operators and associations, compliance with these guidelines is confirmed in order to ensure smooth grid connection of the systems. GCC certification guarantees that grid connection negotiations are simplified to a considerable extent. We are happy to support you and carry out tests in our laboratory in Kaufbeuren or directly at the manufacturer's premises.

EZE certification / unit certification (in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4105, VDE-AR-N 4110, VDE-AR-N 4120, VDE-AR-N 4130)

Our unit certification in accordance with FGW TR8 covers all types of decentralized generation units. In addition to proof of conformity based on type testing in accordance with FGW TR3, the unit model is also validated in accordance with FGW TR4. This certification program serves to confirm compliance with the rules for self-generation systems VDE-AR-N 4110 on the medium-voltage grid, VDE-AR-N 4120 on the high-voltage grid, and VDE-AR-N 4130 on the extra-high-voltage grid.
The certification of the electrical properties of decentralized generation units and systems ensures that your product complies with the grid connection rules and does not place an impermissible load on the public power grid.
