Kiwa Training Terms & Conditions

By approving these terms and conditions you are agreeing to the Kiwa UK Group Terms and Conditions in addition to the Kiwa Training Conditions detailed below. 

Contract
By submitting the Application for Training, you acknowledge and agree that a binding contract is formed between you and Kiwa Limited.
 
Quotation
Quotations are valid for a period of 3 months after which time a re-quote may be necessary.
 
Confidentiality
Kiwa Agri Food agrees not to disclose any information in relation to a client’s business or affairs except information which:

Is in the public domain
Is required to be disclosed by any competent legal authority or government body
Is Required to be disclosed by United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) – Kiwa Agri Food’s accreditation authority
Is disclosed to Scheme Owner
Is disclosed with the client’s authorisation
 
Complaints and Appeals
Should you have any complaint about the service that you are receiving from Kiwa Agri Food, or a dispute following the outcome of an assessment, please contact in writing giving details of your complaint to the Quality Manager at Kiwa Agri Food who will investigate and report through Kiwa Agri Food’s Complaints & Appeals procedure. Complaints and Appeals should be sent in writing to:-
Kiwa Agri Food, The Inspire, Hornbeam Square West, Harrogate HG2 8PA The Quality Manager will act reasonably and respond in a timely manner.
 
Cancellation/Postponement of Confirmed Bookings

Please send cancellation details to uk.training@kiwa.com

We request that delegates inform us of cancellations as soon as possible so that we can attempt to reallocate the place to a person on our waiting list.

•    If you notify us of your cancellation more than 28 days prior to the course then we will provide a full refund or transfer your booking to an alternative training date.

•    If you notify us of your cancellation less than 28 days prior to the course then the full cost will be payable including expenses.

Where you have booked a place on a course and do not attend there will be no refunds. We will require any unpaid invoice/s to be settled in full
 
Invoice Queries
You may query an invoice within 21 days of the date of the relevant invoice. To do so please address your query to your normal Kiwa Agri Food contact. The undisputed element of an invoice must be paid in compliance with the Terms of Payment. The payment of disputed sums may be withheld until once the dispute has been settled.

Payment must then take place within 10 working days.
 
All disputes shall be settled by representatives of the parties acting reasonably within 10 working days.

Payments
Payments can be made by debit card, credit card, cheque or BACS. Kiwa Agri Food does not accept American Express.
 
All payments are to be in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Bank Charges for payment transmissions are the client’s responsibility and should not be removed.
  
Trainer Expenses – travel, accommodation, subsistence
Road mileage shall be charged as per your quotation. Kiwa Agri Food reserves the right to add a reasonable fuel surcharge in line with any increase in our costs. Other transport, where necessary, may be billed by the client or by Kiwa Agri Food as is charged on at cost.

If overnight accommodation is required, it is usual to use Premier Inn or equivalent hotels, which can be booked by you or by Kiwa Agri Food. Hotel accommodation (inclusive of meals) is charged on at cost.

All quoted fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be added to the invoice at the rate applicable at that time. All expenses are payable as soon as they have been incurred, verified by the accounts department and the invoice raised.
