BRL-K14027 version 2026 declared binding
A revised version of BR-K14027 for the Kiwa product certificate for "Ductile iron pipes and fittings for wastewater" has been declared binding as of 6 July 2026.
The following parts of the BRL have been changed:
- The BRL has been updated and aligned with the current Kiwa BRL structure.
- The changes are mainly editorial in nature and consist of clarifications and updates.
The certificates issued on BRL-K14027 version 2015 will lose their validity on 06-07-2027.
The certificate holders will be informed about this transition period.

Evaluation guideline changes
An evaluation guideline or ‘Beoordelingsrichtlijn’ (BRL) is a package of requirements that a product or service can meet to demonstrate a certain guarantee of quality and legality. Kiwa offers BRLs in various subject areas. The requirements in a BRL are drawn up by an independent Board of Experts. A product or service is assessed by Kiwa on the basis of those requirements. When we introduce a new BRL or when a BRL changes, we will publish these BRL's.
