BRL 5217, parts 1 and 2 are published for comments
From 8 July 2019 BRL 5217, parts 1 and 2 are published for comments. The draft version you can find under ‘Downloads’.
The most important change concerns part 2 of BRL 5217. Hereby the requirements are aligned with the requirements of the German DIBt. In this way, it will be much easier to obtain the KOMO quality mark for manufacturers having already a DIBt certificate for their products.
Forwarding of comments
The Board of Experts Plastics Piping Systems takes into account a commenting period of 6 weeks. You can forward your comments till the 19th of August 2019 to the contact person mentioned below.

Evaluation guideline changes
An evaluation guideline or ‘Beoordelingsrichtlijn’ (BRL) is a package of requirements that a product or service can meet to demonstrate a certain guarantee of quality and legality. Kiwa offers BRLs in various subject areas. The requirements in a BRL are drawn up by an independent Board of Experts. A product or service is assessed by Kiwa on the basis of those requirements. When we introduce a new BRL or when a BRL changes, we will publish these BRL's.
