Nowadays, sustainability is also important and sometimes mandatory with regard to the production process and the specifications of a substance or material. Kiwa has extensive expertise in the independent monitoring of the quality and safe use of traditional materials (concrete, steel and plastics, etc.) and hazardous substances and materials according to very specific requirements. We can also issue a statement on weaknesses in materials caused by degradation mechanisms such as corrosion, stress corrosion or brittleness.
