Meet Kiwa at Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026

Business professionals talking at a hydrogen energy trade show booth with Kiwa branding and blue exhibition displays

From October 20 – 22, 2026, Kiwa will be at Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hamburg, Germany. Visit us in Hall B6, Stand 6N60, to meet our hydrogen experts and discover how independent testing, validation, and technical expertise can help you develop safe, reliable, and high-performing hydrogen technologies.

Hydrogen technologies develop rapidly, creating new opportunities as well as demanding technical and safety requirements. From materials and components to storage systems and complete technologies, independent testing and validation play an important role in demonstrating performance, managing risk, and supporting successful project development.

At Hydrogen Technology World Expo, Kiwa will showcase its capabilities for hydrogen applications and discuss how we can support companies throughout the development and validation process.

Supporting your hydrogen projects

Visit Hall B6, Stand 6N60 to learn more about Kiwa’s hydrogen testing and technical services, including:

  • Material compatibility and safety assessments for hydrogen systems
  • Liquid hydrogen (LH₂) and gaseous hydrogen (GH₂) testing for component and technology validation
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, fire, impact, and permeation testing for hydrogen tanks
  • Expert support for compliance, performance, and project development

From hydrogen infrastructure and components to emerging technologies, Kiwa helps manufacturers, technology developers, and project partners address technical requirements, reduce risk, and provide evidence of performance.

Kiwa expert Bernhard Strauss to speak on liquid hydrogen testing

Kiwa will also contribute to the Hydrogen Technology World Expo conference program. On October 21, 2026, from 9:55 to 10:10 a.m. CET at Hydrogen Stage B, Bernhard Strauss, Managing Director, Program Manager, and Head of Cryogenic Technology at Kiwa ET, will present “Testing Liquid Hydrogen Systems: Independent Validation for Safe and Scalable LH₂ Applications.”

The session will explore how independent testing and validation can support the safe, reliable, and scalable deployment of liquid hydrogen technologies. As hydrogen applications progress toward greater technical maturity and commercial deployment, validation under representative operating conditions becomes increasingly important for understanding system behavior, demonstrating performance, and building confidence in LH₂ applications.
