Estonia-based company Metrex Mõõtekeskus OÜ, specialized in calibration services in the field of mass, fuel stations and tanks, has joined the Kiwa Group. On 11 January 2023 we have welcomed all employees into the Kiwa family.

Kiwa UK welcomes new names for two of their business units to more accurately reflect the services they offer. Product Compliance Specialists (PCS) will be known as Kiwa Product Compliance and Kiwa Gasted is now called Kiwa Energy.

This autumn Kiwa has started two new projects in Portugal for two Portuguese gas district system operators: H2REN for REN Portgás and Retrofit for Floene. In commission of these two operators, Kiwa will assess the suitability of their gas distribution networks for hydrogen. 

Kiwa welcomes the historic proposal recently adopted by the Council of the European Union on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which is finally ready to come into force.

Kiwa announced the merger with ASI LLC to strengthen Kiwa’s United States footprint significantly in providing Food, Feed & Farm certifications.

Kiwa has issued the first KiwaGreen certificate and the Covenant Cable Protection Pipe of recycled polyethylene to Hundhausen Kunststofftechnik in Germany. The certification shows that the company is working towards becoming energy or climate neutral in the future and contributing to a more sustainable world through its products.
