The services of the Kiwa Metrology Laboratory, accredited LAT No. 052 by ACCREDIA, an Italian accreditation body, are aimed at all companies in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on the Automotive&Racing, Aerospace and Defense, Medical and Packaging sectors, which need to know and control the quality-recognized and reportable-measurements of their instruments.

Kiwa Italia is accredited for performance verification of coordinate measuring machines in accordance with ISO 10360/2 at companies.

Another peculiarity of the methodologies adopted by Kiwa Italia is to employ the company's own personnel to perform the measurements, evaluating the performance of the machines under conditions very close to service conditions, thus also qualifying the measurement operator.
