Description

The e-learning course consists of several chapters based on IECEx Module 000:

  • What is an explosion?
  • ATEX legislation and regulations
  • Properties of flammable substances
  • Explosion prevention
  • Explosion-proof equipment
  • Responsibilities and permits

The learning material in this e-learning course is interactive and consists of a mix of text, animations, practice questions and engaging learning activities. This provides variety and makes learning enjoyable and effective. Each module concludes with a short knowledge quiz to test what you have learned.

Target audience

The e-learning ATEX Awareness is intended for employees who work in an environment with an increased risk of explosion. Although these employees do not deal with explosion hazards on a daily basis, they must be aware of the associated risks.

Study load
The e-learning takes 3 to 4 hours to complete.

Study materials
After registration, you will receive access to the online learning environment. Here you can start your e-learning course. You will have access to the e-learning for six months after registration.

Goals

After completing the ATEX Awareness e-learning course, you will understand the risks associated with explosions. You will be able to recognize hazards and respond by taking the appropriate measures. This enables you to contribute to achieving and maintaining a safe workplace, including protection against explosion hazards.

Completion

Exam
The e-learning course concludes with a final assessment. This assessment becomes available once all modules have been completed. If desired, you can take an official exam at PBNA in accordance with IECEx 05 Module 000. Please contact us for more information.

Certificate
If you successfully complete the final assessment, you will receive a certificate of participation valid for three years.

Exemptions
No specific exemption policy applies to this e-learning course.
