The accreditation of Kiwa Creiven's expertise gives the certificates and test reports issued a high degree of reliability in terms of the quality and safety of the products tested and guarantees their recognition on international markets.

The laboratories for electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety and testing of generators (especially those powered by renewable energy sources) are accredited by ACCREDIA (LAB n.0259) to perform more than 200 types of tests. The accreditation status of the tests performed by the laboratory is on the Accredia website.

Mutual Recognition Agreements

Accredia is a member of the international networks of accreditation bodies and a signatory to the relevant international Mutual Recognition Agreements. Mutual Recognition Agreements ensure the equivalence on the market of certifications, inspections, verifications, tests and calibrations performed by accredited bodies and laboratories. Voluntary certification of generators in accordance with international grid codes (especially renewable energy driven)

Kiwa Creiven also acts as an IECEE CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) for IEC conformity of the following product categories

Indipencence, Impartiality and Transparency

To act as an EU Notified Body for certification according to the directives, Kiwa Creiven is accredited by Accredia according to UNI EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 and therefore recognised and notified to the European Commission by the Ministry of Economic Development:

-European Notified Body (N.B. 2859)
-To act as a voluntary certification body for generators, Kiwa Creiven is accredited by Accredia according to UNI EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
-To operate as an FCC certification body, Kiwa Creiven is inspected by Accredia and notified to the FCC by the Ministry of Economic Development.
-To operate as a CBTL (in cooperation with NCB Kiwa Nederland B.V.), Kiwa Creiven is subject to CB accreditation.

Kiwa Creiven is a company that is financially supported by the proceeds of testing and certification activities; the fees charged depend on the amount of resources required for these activities.

On request, Kiwa Creiven will send you the EC Certification Agreement and the Voluntary Certification Agreement, which describe:

-The rights and obligations of the manufacturer;
-The procedure for obtaining, extending, suspending or withdrawing product certification;
-The conditions leading to a refusal to proceed with certification;
-How complaints and appeals are handled and resolved.

A complaint or appeal (the latter against a certification decision) can be made by writing to info.creiven@kiwa.com, clearly indicating the sender and the subject.
