EU-COMPLIANCE RECOGNITION
24 July 2024Kiwa BCS ÖKO Garantie GmbH has been officially recognized by the European Commission as a control body in accordance with 2018/848. From 21st June 2024, Kiwa BCS ÖKO Garantie GmbH is authorized to carry out inspections and certifications in accordance with the latest EU regulations for organic production in more than 40 countries.

Strengthening Organic Enforcement: NOP-Import certificates
11 June 2024The USDA publishes the “New Final Rule” for the National Organic Program in the USA (kiwa.com), which requires all organic imports into the United States to be declared organic and accompanied by a NOP import certificate. This change will improve traceability and monitoring of organic imports into the United States, making fraud more difficult.
