BRL-K777 version 2026 declared binding

A revised version of BRL-K777 for the Kiwa product certificate for " Repair clamps and couplings in contact with drinking water" has been declared binding as of 16 June 2026.

The following parts of the BRL have been changed:

  • Scope expanded: now also includes repair couplings in addition to clamps
  • Higher pressure requirements and clearer scope (up to 1.6 MPa)
  • Technical requirements clarified (materials, sealing, corrosion protection)
  • Test methods expanded and described in more detail
