Kiwa Nuclear AB approved as Expert Organization by the Polish Atomic Energy Authority
Kiwa Nuclear AB, part of Kiwa Group in Sweden, has been officially approved as a Nuclear Technical Expert Organization by the Polish Atomic Energy Authority, PAA (Państwowa Agencja Atomowa). This prestigious approval enables Kiwa to contribute technical expertise to the process of reviewing documentation for the construction of Poland's first nuclear power plant.
The PAA approval applies to structural integrity assessments of pressure and load bearing components, which can include piping systems and pipe suspensions to reactor pressure vessels and their internal components.
