To better facilitate a growing city, the low-floor Light Rail Tunnel (LRT) was a major focus in the latest Edmonton transit plan. The LRT was designed to include 27km of double track with a 500m tunnel, 2km on elevated structure as well as 28 new stations.
To ensure efficient construction of the project, T2ue conducted field investigations to identify the locations of existing underground utilities and municipal infrastructure. This allowed conflict points to be identified for both private utilities and civil infrastructures.
