Kiwa Turkey officially opens new Ankara Branch

Kiwa Turkey has further strengthened its presence in the region with the official opening of its new Ankara Branch in OSTİM, one of Türkiye’s leading industrial and technology hubs.

The opening ceremony was held with the participation of Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, and Muhteşem Gökhan Yücel, General Manager of Kiwa Turkey, alongside industrialists, sector representatives, business partners, and stakeholders contributing to Ankara’s manufacturing and technology ecosystem.

Bringing Kiwa’s expertise closer to Ankara’s industry

The new Ankara Branch will serve as an important point of contact for organizations in Ankara and the surrounding provinces, providing easier access to Kiwa’s broad portfolio of services, including certification, testing, inspection, calibration, and training.

Through its presence in Ankara, Kiwa Turkey aims to work more closely with organizations operating in key sectors such as medical technologies, defense and aerospace, energy, rail systems, manufacturing, and management systems.

The new branch will enable Kiwa to better understand customers’ needs on-site and combine its national and international expertise with the capabilities of Ankara’s strong industrial ecosystem.

Strong participation from industry and sector representatives

Representing Kiwa Turkey at the opening ceremony were General Manager Muhteşem Gökhan Yücel, Deputy General Managers Mehmet Fevzi Gülünay and Hakan Esgin, Ankara Branch Manager Yeşim Sekizelma, and Education Department Leader Çetin Can Şenel.

The event also welcomed representatives from several important industry clusters and organizations, including Fatin Dağçınar, Chairman of the Board of the OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster; Nilsu Bozdemir, Cluster Coordinator; Ceren Asalım and Şebnem Çiğdem Nacıoğlu from the OSTİM Defense and Aviation Cluster (OSSA); Mehmet Suphi İnal, Coordinator of the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster (OSTİM ENERJİK); İlke Karaca, Secretary General of SEİS; and Tuğrul Ünlü, Corporate Relations Coordinator of İSEK.

CSA Group Testing & Certification to become part of Kiwa Group

Rijswijk, 28 August 2026 – Kiwa Group has signed an agreement with CSA Group to bring the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) business, led by CSA Group Testing & Certification Inc., into the Kiwa Group for an enterprise value of €1.3 billion. The transaction remains subject to approval by the members of the Canadian Standards Association, and other customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the coming months.
