Product certification by Kiwa: equipped for the future

In order to bring a product to market today, certification is required in many areas. Certification can concern the product, the process (especially that of factory production control) or a service.

Depending on the type of product and application, there are European or national regulations as a basis. Construction products in the European harmonised area are subject to the Construction Products Regulation (BauPVO, CE mark) as well as product- and application-related European standards or European Technical Assessment Documents. If there is no European requirement, it must be checked whether there are country-specific requirements. In Germany, the State Building Code (LBO, Ü mark) applies to construction products.
