Drinking Water Directive

During the event, Kiwa will present a comprehensive portfolio of testing and certification services, aimed at ensuring safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Among others, Kiwa has obtained accreditation from RvA (Dutch Accreditation Council) to carry out assessments in accordance with the new European Drinking Water Directive (EU) 2020/2184. With this achievement, Kiwa becomes the second European conformity assessment body to take the decisive step towards formal notification through accreditation by a national authority.

Heat Pump Testing and Certification

In addition to testing and certification services for gas and solid fuel-powered products, Kiwa also offers specialized testing and certification services for heat pumps, verifying their compliance with the relevant technical standards.

The organization is also authorized to issue the HP Keymark certification for air-to-water, salt water, and water-to-water technologies. Heat pumps are used in numerous applications, from electric heating systems to geothermal solutions, and can be integrated with advanced control systems, which are essential for ensuring high levels of energy efficiency.
