Kiwa has prepared the Certification regulations in order to certify PV modules according to "Conto Energia Made in EU" Label (Solar). Conto Energia Made in EU is one of the Kiwa Quality certification schemes. In a very close co-operation with the Italian organization for the PV Industry IFI (Industrie Fotovaltaiche Italiane). "Conto Energia Made in EU" is a simple but effective certification and labelling scheme in order to prove that your PV modules are produced in Europe.

The Italian Governmental Organization, GSE, had approved the certification method and procedures of Kiwa, because Kiwa is now NCB (National Certification Body) and CBTL (Certification Board Test Laboratory) according to the worldwide recognized IECEE scheme (IECEE-CB).

Specific aspects of the "Conto Energia Made in EU" (Solar) certification procedures are:

Verification of the location on critical steps of the module manufacturing process.
Verification of the capacity of the production lines versus the delivered orders and orders in demand.

If you wish to approve that your PV modules are produced in Europe, the “Conto Energia Made in EU” label (Solar) is the simple and effective solution.

You can ask for a quotation or information either by phone or e-mail. We will set up a plan according to your requirements. After approval of the quotation by both parties the actual test work starts. A certificate will be sent to you when all the test work has been performed successfully and you have entered into a surveillance agreement with Kiwa.
