What you need to know

15 years after initial commissioning, and every 15 years thereafter, the elevator manager is legally obliged to have a risk analysis carried out by an EDTC, such as Vinçotte (member of Kiwa Group), to identify any non-conformities. On the basis of this risk analysis, the manager must request quotations from various elevator installers.
