  • companies active in HVAC, light partition construction, floating floor construction, etc.
  • architects
  • real estate operators, developers, project managers

What you need to know

Vinçotte (member of Kiwa Group) has extensive experience in building acoustics studies. Our services include:

  • Prognosis and advice on the acoustic impact of new technical installations
  • Sound insulation predictions using specific building acoustics software
  • Indoor comfort predictions (reverberation, open spaces, etc.)
  • Control of specifications
  • Predictive study in the pre-project phase
    The study consists of verifying the techniques and materials envisaged in terms of building insulation and acoustic comfort. To do this, our specialists use, among other things, software for dimensioning and predicting the performance of interior and/or exterior construction elements (airborne and impact noise).
    The Bastian 2.3 program, for example, enables:
    • predictive calculations of transmissions (airborne and structure-borne) between premises;
    • optimize the choice of materials to be used.

In another field, the CATT Acoustics software enables:

  • Optimize acoustic comfort in sensitive areas (multi-purpose rooms, circulation, auditoriums, etc.);
  • Optimization of reverberation time, sound level and intelligibility.

Advantages

Thanks to our experts, you can be sure, at the design stage, that your building will meet the recommended acoustic performance levels, and you have an objective expert report to verify that your building design complies with the latest acoustic standards.
