What you need to know

Fan tests are air-tightness measurement tests carried out on gas extinguishing systems. In view of the toxicity of gas emissions in the event of fire, premises fitted with such systems must be airtight beyond fail. These tests consist of specific measurements during air supply/exhaust, carried out using a fan placed in the door of the room.
Vinçotte experts (a member of the Kiwa group) carry out these tests on your premises if you wish to install extinguishing systems using inert and halogenated gases. They can also advise you on the implementation of solutions to achieve complete airtightness and/or fire-resistant tightening of the premises.

Advantages

Thanks to this service, you can guarantee the efficiency of your extinguishing systems, ensuring the safety of your employees and third parties, as well as protecting your IT equipment, production equipment and high-voltage cabins from fire. By involving Vinçotte (a member of the Kiwa group) right from the project phase, you also ensure that subsequent interventions, once the installation has been completed and the building is in use, are carried out efficiently and without costly modifications.
