Your own Kiwa quality mark 

The assessment guideline K525 is a certification scheme adhesive joints in thermoplastic piping systems for drinking water. This evaluation guideline specifies the functional requirements and test methods for adhesives used for joining the components of unplasticed poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-C), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) thermoplastic piping systems for the transport of drinking water. The guideline is exclusively suitable for assessment of adhesives with accompanying cleaners under laboratory circumstances.

You will not receive the certificate just like that. We place high demands on the entry control of the raw materials, controls during the production process and on the end product. When requesting a quote, you indicate for which products and which technical area you want to be certified. 

Procedure obtaining a Kiwa product certificate

If you have agreed to our quotation, we will conduct an admission investigation. We are investigating whether you can obtain the  Kiwa product certificate in accordance with the requirements we have determined. We do this by means of a company audit and prescribed laboratory tests. The outcome of this determines whether you meet the requirements of K525. If the result is positive, you will receive a Kiwa certificate. The quality system - as laid down in the IKB - is then regularly checked by us. In this way your product continues to meet the set requirements. Your customers can be confident that your product offers them what they consider important; quality.
