Course introduction

The qualification provides learners with an understanding about the benefits of good health and safety and the causes of accidents and how to reduce them.

Also covered are things like near misses, ill health and emergency procedures.

This course is suitable for all employees of varying levels.

What will delegates take away?

This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination which carries an additional £36.75 + VAT Highfield Exam and Certificate Fee.

  • The benefits of good health and safety in the workplace
  • The process of risk assessment
  • Hazards and controls in the workplace
  • Responding to accidents, near misses and ill-health in the workplace
