In the context of legionella prevention, a priority institution must, among other things, have a risk analysis carried out and a management plan drawn up (in accordance with BRL 6010). The owner or manager of a priority institution must have a legionella test and legionella analysis carried out at least every six months. The legionella samples must be examined in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. You can find more information about legionella on our legionella theme page (in Dutch).
