State of the art lab triples Kiwa's heat pump test capacity

The beginning of 2018 marked a very special moment for Kiwa’s heat pump experts. After months of thorough preparations a brand new test lab was shipped in from Italy and meticulously reconstructed in Apeldoorn.

Kiwa is one of Europe's leading testing, inspection and certification (TIC) organisations and has considerable experience in the field of heat pumps. To meet with the ever growing international market for heat pumps and heat pump components, Kiwa decided to significantly expand its testing facilities in Apeldoorn. Together with Italian supplier Air Control Kiwa’s heat pump experts designed a completely new test lab which was first assembled in Italy, then dismantled, transported to Apeldoorn and reconstructed.  

The new heat pump test lab triples Kiwa’s test capacity for heat pumps and components. The facility enables Kiwa to offer a complete service package in the field of heat pump testing and certification. From now Kiwa can provide high capacity facilities for ERP testing, EMC & electrical safety tests and water safety testing as well as RED and PED tests.
