Kiwa BCS and Kiwa Turkey cooperate with ACS International CO
Kiwa BCS Germany and Kiwa Turkey have entered into a cooperation with ACS International CO. The cooperation agreement applies to both the Middle East (including among others United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and Egypt and covers the areas of organic raw material and food certification.
Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH takes over this part of the agreement as a pioneer and expert in this field. Kiwa Turkey is responsible for the management certifications according to ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
Certification for organic raw material and food sector
With this cooperation, the following certifications in the organic raw material and food sector will be offered: EC 834/2007, USDA-NOP National Organic Program, JAS Japanese Organic Standard, KOC Korean Organic Certification, COR Canadian Organic Regulation, BSI Bio Suisse International, NL Naturland, DI Demeter International and GlobalG.A.P. certification.
The following management certifications are also offered: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 50001 and ISO 37001.
The agreement enables Kiwa BCS to carry out inspections in these regions by ACS International CO quality inspectors. The cooperation will significantly facilitate market access in the entire Middle East and Africa. In addition, the agreement allows to ensure the rotation of inspectors for standards such as GlobalG.A.P..

Joint trade fair in Dubai
From 3 to 5 December, the cooperation partners Kiwa BCS and ACS International CO for Quality presented themselves together at MENOPE (Middle East Natural & Organic Product Expo) in Dubai. In addition, the first audits have already been carried out in the United Arab Emirates.
