A greener path in the value-chain
Many organizations have set themselves the long term goal (2030-2050) of becoming energy or climate neutral. KiwaGREEN label is developed to support all organizations to achieve a greener path in their value-chain. The label acknowledges ‘green programs or green elements’ of organization’s product and/or process through certification.
The overall objective of KiwaGREEN is, through certification, to support the demand and the supply of products and services which cause less stress on the environment, contribute to responsible and sustainable value chain through non-misleading communication of verifiable and accurate information, on environmental aspects of products and services.
KiwaGREEN finds its base in ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Guidance, ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility and ISO 14020 series on Environmental Labeling.

Covenant Cable Protection Pipe of recycled polyethylene
Additionally, during the presentation of the KiwaGreen certificate, the Covenant Cable Protection Pipe of recycled polyethylene (K110027/01) was also issued by Kiwa to the company. Many grid operators, including Dutch Liander, want to apply pipes of recycled polyethylene, provided they meet the standard requirements confirmed by Kiwa. The covenant shows that Hundhausen Kunststofftechnik meets all necessary Kiwa requirements regarding the polyethylene pipes they bring to the market.
