What is CSR?

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.

By practicing CSR, companies show they are conscious of the impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental. This involves people who interact with the company in any way, environmental effects like the use of energy and resources, and the continuity of the organization.

Many companies, including Kiwa, have CSR programs aiming to enhance society and the environment. Such programs can include for example efforts to limit the emission of greenhouse gases, policies for cleaner traveling, programs to improve employee wellbeing, people doing volunteer work or contributing to communities otherwise.

That way, CSR activities can also help forge a stronger bond between employees and employer, boost their morale, and have them feel more connected to the world around them.

At Kiwa, we have CSR Route 2025 in place, which includes principles and focal points we have embraced for the next few years and beyond. Read more about our CSR Route 2025.
