Verwijzingen
In het document staan verwijzingen naar andere documenten. Deze verwijzingen zijn aangepast naar de huidige vigerende documenten en zijn er nieuwe documentverwijzingen toegevoegd.
Aansluiten aan de drinkwaterinstallatie
De producten met een veiligheidscertificaat worden aangesloten op de drinkwaterinstallatie. Tussen de aansluiting van de drinkwaterinstallatie en de “hoofdterugstroombeveiliging” worden een aantal componenten gebruikt. Formeel gesproken moeten deze componenten voldoen aan de Ministeriële Regeling voor materialen in contact met drinkwater. Omdat het water benedenstrooms van de terugstroombeveiliging niet wordt beschouwd als drinkwater is besloten toe te staan dat een keerklep EA/ EB wordt toegepast in de aansluiting. In de bijlage “Clarification” hebben wij aangegeven welke opties beschikbaar zijn. Het voorzien in de mogelijkheid een toestel overeenkomstig de geldende eisen aan te sluiten, is onderdeel van het certificatieschema.
Merken
Ook het merk is aangepast. De aanpassing was gewenst om het Kiwa beleid te volgen. De merkstickers blijven voor u beschikbaar en ook kunnen wij deze als JPG, EPS en DWG file aan de certificaathouders beschikbaar stellen.
Inspectiefrequentie
In de huidige versie van de BRL-K14011 is de inspectiefrequenties vastgesteld op 2 maal per jaar. Na een inventarisatie en analyse van de tekortkomingen over de afgelopen 5 jaar is na overleg met het College van Deskundigen besloten in de nieuwe versie van de BRL de inspectiefrequentie te verlagen naar 1 maal per jaar. De verlaging van de inspectiefrequentie heeft tot gevolg dat de jaarlijkse kosten met 30% worden verlaagd per 1 januari 2019 per certificaat.
Sanctiebeleid
Het College van Deskundigen heeft aan de verlaging van de inspectiefrequentie het verzoek gekoppeld een gelijkblijvend controleniveau te handhaven in overeenstemming met het Reglement voor Certificatie 2017. Er komt een mogelijkheid dat vragen, opmerkingen en klachten kunnen worden gemeld via de Kiwa website. De melding moet dan vergezeld gaan met een beschrijving en worden toegelicht met foto(‘s).

Connection to the drinking water installation
The products with a safety certificate are connected to the drinking water installation. Between the connection of the drinking water installation and the main backflow prevention device components are applied. Formally spoken the components are submitted the NL legislation for materials in contact with drinking water. As the water downstream the backflow prevention device is not considered as drinking water but as process water it was decided to agree to the installation of a Kiwa certified check valve EA/ EB. In the appendix “Clarification” we stated which options are available. The installation of the connection of the product to the drinking water installation is a part of the certification scheme and a responsibility of the certificate holder.
Marking
The marking is changed also. The changing was required to be in line with the Kiwa policy concerning Marking in relation to the certification schemes. The stickers remaining can be ordered via Kiwa NL. The marking is available also as JPG, EPS and DWG file.
Frequency of inspections
The present version of BRL-K14011 requires an inspection frequency of 2 per 12 months. After an inventory and analyses of the Non-Conformities of the past 5 years the College of Experts decided to decrease the number of inspections to 1 inspection a year in this new version of the Evaluation Guideline. Decreasing the number of inspections will also mean that the annual costs for the maintenance of the certification scheme will reduce. Kiwa has decided that 30% reduction in the annual fee shows a fare alternative, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2019.
Sanctions
The College of Experts agreed to decrease the of number of inspections only if an equal level of control level remains in force. We introduce the possibility to ask questions, make remarks and submit complaints via the Kiwa website for certified products. The notification shall be clarified by a description and photo’s.
